Akiko & Co. was founded from a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage, and the beauty of owning something truly rare.

Each piece in our collection is hand-selected in Japan - one-of-one vintage kimonos and haori crafted from traditional Japanese textiles, carrying decades of history within every stitch. No two are ever the same. These are not garments created for trends or seasons, but timeless pieces designed to be treasured for years to come.

We believe in choosing rarity over mass production, quality over excess, and pieces with a story over those without one. Every garment is given a second life, allowing traditional Japanese artistry to continue being worn, admired, and preserved.

As a mother of two, sustainability and intentional living are values that guide both my life and this business. Akiko & Co. is my way of honouring traditional craftsmanship while building a future that values thoughtful consumption and enduring quality.
